Ifeanyi receives an assignment to Dubai a day after his birthday. He is torn because it would take him away from his beloved wife, Anwuli, and he also wanted a break from his desk work as he had never been in fieldwork before.

Anwuli immerses herself in her blog as soon as Ifeanyi departs for Dubai, but she is interrupted by knocks on the door. It turns out to be two men asking for Ifeanyi. However, their questions become more inquisitive, this makes Anwuli uncomfortable and uncooperative. leading to her kidnapping.

Ifeanyi is getting settled in his hotel room in Dubai for his work when he receives a call about his wife’s kidnap. This throws him off balance, and it takes him time to put the pieces together. He soon learns that Anwuli’s kidnap is connected to the documents he is working for, and he also learns the significance of the documents. This puts him in an alarm state, knowing the severity of the matter puts him and his wife in danger….and the unravelling of a cover-up unfolds.
